William Treadwell and his husband, Jesse Lirette, decided to build their own home and purchased a lot in 2018 in the North Druid Hills neighborhood Lavista Park.

William Treadwell and Jesse Lirette's modern industrial home features an open floor plan with tons of natural light throughout.

The entrance to William Treadwell and husband Jesse Lirette's home features antique and modern elements throughout the house along with organic elements like wood and greenery, as well as a custom mural.

The home features an elevated living room with foyer to the right leading to the second floor that has two bedrooms, a full bath and a hidden office behind a mirrored Murphy Door. The chandeliers are three separate West Elm light fixtures that were intertwined together.

The hallway features cement-look tile with wide-plank engineered wood on the ceiling and in all the bedroom floors. The stairs and elevated living space also use the wide plank oak floor. This hallway leads from the living room area to the master bedroom.

The home features a modern kitchen with a metallic backsplash, marble waterfall countertops with a large inset sink and a second sink to chill wine and condiments, as well as custom cabinetry designed by Brian Watford.

The backyard of William Treadwell and Jesse Lirette’s home features outdoor furniture from the Phillips Collection. There is also a covered porch with a double-sided fireplace. The couple added large pavers for more visual interest.

The master bathroom features a white tile floor with a floor warmer underneath as well as custom cabinets, and an expansive shower with a rain shower in the center. The blue back splash brings color to the space as does the light from the slider.

The mural serves as the focal wall for the entire house. The couple used this as the starting point for the design of their home. The wall features brick texture as a canvas with art that is a bit distressed and creates a city feel that pairs well with industrial modern style of the home.

The couple decided to carry the organic texture of wood pieces throughout the house with a modern touch. The Barcelona chairs act as a mini living room in the master bedroom. The 1920 Kimono had a custom frame built to preserve and mount. The table underneath has a marble top and glass all around the sides.

The main bedroom of the home features a brick main wall and wide plank floors. The bedroom also features a small living space and a private porch with a crying wall and fountain.

Outside, the master bathroom features a crying wall and fountain on a private patio. The bathroom and outdoor space were planned with the shower to add organic elements.
