Broad Street was about to get a makeover and the Southern Bell building made it's debut. Steve Bartkowski was with the Falcons and Dominque Wilkins was at UGA. And the AJC profiled the Braves' No. 1 fan, Pearl Sandow, who was in her early 80s at the time.
