HLHS symptoms
Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) is a rare congenital heart defect that develops before a baby is born. There are no known risk factors or ways to prevent HLHS.
- Bluish or gray skin, lips or fingernails
- Rapid, difficult breathing
- Poor feeding
- Cold hands and feet
- Weak pulse
- Drowsy or less active
