If you're a veteran – or the spouse of a veteran – who's looking for a job, you'll want to check out the RecruitMilitary Opportunity Expo on Feb. 2 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

The event is free and will be held from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. It's also designed for job seekers (and their spouses) who are currently transitioning out of the military, National Guard and Reserve members.

Many employers will be on hand, including AmazonDelta Air Lines, Lockheed Martin Corporation and the United States Postal Service. Continuing education and business ownership opportunities will also be available.

A 10 a.m. seminar, "Move in the Right Direction: Putting Your Career Goals into Action" will be presented by DeVry University. It covers such topics as the importance of identifying specific career goals and seeing things from the employer's point of view.

And if you don't have a suit to wear to future interviews, Farmers Insurance, a sponsor of the Suits for Soldiers program, will hand out suits at the event.
