Ever wonder what it really takes to get to the top?

According to a report on income inequality from the Economic Policy Institute, to be in the top 1 percent nationally, a family needs an income of $389,436, based on 2013 data.

But how much do you need to make to be in the top 1 percent of your state?

» This is how much you must earn to be in the top 1% in Georgia

According to the report, Georgians would have to make $345,876.
