Beer maker Guinness is tweaking its 256-year-old recipe to make vegans happy.
There has been a lengthy campaign pressuring Guinness to make the change and they’ve finally given in.
They’ll be removing something called isinglass. That’s a byproduct of fish bladders made into gelatin.
Fox News reports isinglass was used to filter yeast particles from the beer.
Guinness is said to be planning the change at its plant in Ireland for 2016.
The popular beer is brewed in 49 countries, but the change will only happen at the flagship brewery in Ireland.
