Ready to quit your job, and move on to the next chapter? Best to make your departure from your current job as sweet and easy as possible, right?
Right! That’s why Mark Herman, newscast director at KOLD-TV in Tucson, Ariz., quite literally sugarcoated his resignation letter, and had it printed on a cake.
“Today I handed in the most delicious letter of resignation ever,” Herman wrote on Reddit.
Herman knew his colleagues would be disappointed in his departure, so he decided he should resign via cake, “Not only because nobody can be mad or sad at a cake, but also because I’m a bit of a joker and a cake of resignation is pretty damn hilarious.”
And in case you were curious (who wouldn’t be?) it was a white cake with strawberry filling and whipped cream frosting.
