HD Supply subsidiary buys company
A subsidiary of Atlanta wholesale distribution company HD Supply is buying a New York waterworks distributor.
HD Supply Waterworks is purchasing Rexford-Albany Municipal Supply Company, a Waterlivet, N.Y. company that specializes in water, sanitary and storm sewer materials and services. HD Supply Waterworks distributes water, sewer, fire protection and storm drain products for contractors and municipalities.
The purchase will give HD Supply Waterworks better infrastructure in the northeastern U.S., the company said. The new company will operate under the HD Supply Waterworks brand and continue to serve its existing customers.
