Age: 55
Occupation: Legal nurse consultant, King & Spalding
What I'm wearing: "The cream suit is from The Limited. The purse is Brooks Brothers. I found the bakelite bangle bracelet at an antique show. The gold floral scarf is from a tag sale that I attend fanatically every year in upstate New York.
“The crystal brooch I discovered on the Internet. It’s by the Austrian company Swarovski, which names their brosches [brooches] and this one happened to be the Diane Brosche. How often in one lifetime will that happen, so, of course, I had to buy it, which I did on eBay. I love wearing this pin!
“The beige strappy sandals are Sacha London from Anthropologie. The pink shawl with the silver threading was crocheted by my grandmother in the 1950s. My mother talked her out of giving it outside the family.”
Signature style: "Feminine with an eclectic touch. I always have my eye out for unique pieces of accent jewelry — generally vintage. I like layered or monochromatic looks that, once accented, will be totally my own. Also, I love good shoes."
Best finds: "Come from the family jewelry box, eBay and tag sales."
Fashion weakness: "Trim — I melt for pompoms and rickrack."
Favorite stores: "Anthropologie and antique shops."
Fashion inspiration: "Vintage silhouettes and jewelry that expresses my personality."
Pet peeve: "Bare legs in winter."
Best fashion compliment: "Compliments from peers and whenever my daughter wants to borrow an item from my closet or jewelry box."
