Home prices across metro Atlanta continue to outpace the nation, rising 15.7 percent in the first quarter of 2014 versus a similar period a year earlier, according to the S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index released today.

Nationwide, the increase was 10.3 percent.

The March increase was the 16th straight month of double-digit price growth.

While still relatively high, the percentage increases have been moderating since last spring. Atlanta prices, overall, ticked up just one percent between February and March of this year.
