Powerball jackpot at $222 million

The jackpot for Wednesday night’s Powerball game has climbed to a whopping $222 million after no players matched all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing. Those numbers were 7, 12, 26, 36 and 40, and the Power Ball was 17.
The next Powerball drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday. Powerball is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball tickets are $2 per play.
