Revenue for Atlanta-based automated teller and software maker NCR Corp. fell 3 percent in the second quarter as the company reaffirmed that it still plans to move to Midtown.

The company reported revenue of $1.6 billion and an earnings per share loss of $2.03 or $343 million as financial services — its biggest segment — fell 7 percent.

The company also took a $427 non-cash settlement charge on the transfer of its pension plan.

“Our second quarter results were in line with our expectations and we remain on track to achieve our objectives for the full year,” Chairman and CEO Bill Nuti said in a statement.

“We also continued to transform our business through further growth of our software revenues, our commitment to a new state-of-the-art world headquarters in Technology Square in Atlanta, Georgia, and the transfer of our UK London pension plan to an insurer,” Nuti added.
