Two winning tickets were sold in Friday’s $190 million Mega Millions drawing in New Jersey and Virginia.

And the Powerball jackpot soared to a jaw-dropping $600 million and counting, for Saturday night’s drawing. The winning powerball numbers, according to the Associated Press, are 10-13-14-22-52, with a powerball number of 11.

It’s the biggest jackpot in the multi-state Powerball game’s history, and the second largest jackpot in U.S. history, Georgia Lottery officials said Friday.

The Powerball jackpot had grown by about $236 million since Wednesday’s drawing. It has rolled over 13 times since april, according to lottery officials.

If you win it, Powerball offers two jackpot payment options: the $600 million jackpot prize would be paid over 29 years in 30 payments; or the cash option, which is about $376 million.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Mega Millions tickets are $1 per play.

Even hardcore non-players might have a hard time resisting buying a ticket. But odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are about 1 in 175 million.

The Powerball drawing was shown live on Channel 2, just before Action News Nightbeat at 11 p.m.

The winning Mega Millions numbers from Friday were: 11, 15, 35, 43, 49 and a Mega Ball of 41.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
