Another automotive supplier will locate in Troup County near Kia Motors, Gov. Sonny Perdue announced Thursday.

The Hanil E-Hwa Co., makers of door trim, seats, lining and shelf coverings, will invest $8.45 million and create 173 jobs over the next three years, according to a press release. It will move into a 180,000-square-foot facility in LaGrange.

In all, 3,000 jobs have been created in and around western Georgia due to Kia. Hanil, based in Seoul, should begin production in October.
