Indeed has released a survey based upon employee reviews, ranking the best companies to work for in America.

The top 10 companies to work for in 2016 are:

  1. Salesforce
  2. Southwest Airlines
  3. Anadarko Petroleum Corp.
  4. Pioneer Natural Resources
  5. Phillip Morris International
  6. Google (Alphabet)
  7. The J.M. Smucker Co.
  8. Eli Lilly
  9. Apple
  10. EOG Resources

According to Indeed, while salary may be of high importance when securing a job, employees rank a positive culture, quality management and work-life balance as more important after they take a job. Company innovation was also seen as attractive to employees.
