Paint and cleaning products are being added to the list of Martha Stewart products to debut at Home Depot next year.

The deal with Martha Stewart is considered a coup for the world's largest home improvement chain. Earlier this year, the retailer announced it would sell the household diva's line of outdoor furniture and organizational products.

Martha Stewart products were very lucrative for retailer Kmart: at its peak it was worth $1 billion in revenues annually. That deal is expiring in January.

Home Depot will sell a line of 280 colors of indoor and outdoor paint by Martha Stewart, as well as "environmentally-friendly" cleaning products for clothing, kitchen and bath.

The cleaners will be available in January and the paint will be available in March.
