New homes going up in a mixed-used development on metro Atlanta's southside come with an unusual goal.

Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy launched Pinewood Forrest as a personal project and wants it to become home to "creatives," including people in the movie business working across the street at Pinewood Atlanta Studios.

Said Pinewood Forrest president Rob Parker: “There’s no promise on our part that there is going to be an A-list actor living next door.” But the potential of being around celebrities in the new community, such as at independent cafes, “is part of the mystique and the draw.”
