Enercon Services acquires Maryland risk firm
Kennesaw-based Enercon Services Inc., an energy consulting company, said it has acquired a Maryland company that specializes in technical analysis and software development supporting the nuclear industry.
Enercon President John Richardson said Maracor Technical Services Inc. of Middletown, Md., will complement the Kennesaw company’s engineering, licensing, environmental and new plant services.
Maracor’s experience in risk assessment analyses will help Enercon with Nuclear Regulatory Commission licensing issues and help the company improve power plant reliability, the company said.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
