Now casting: Jennifer Garner film seeking high school students

Are you ready to make your mark on Atlanta’s film and TV industry? Are you the next Tyler Perry? ATL is in need of young stars. Check out the Peach City’s latest casting call for your chance at fame. 

‘Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda’

Based on the popular YA book by Becky Albertalli, the movie tells the story of a gay teenager who hasn’t come out to his classmates. After an email he sent to a boy falls into the wrong hands, his life becomes more complicated as he’s blackmailed by a classmate.

The movie stars Jennifer GarnerKatherine Langford and Miles Heizer.

What are they looking for?

Teens of all ethnicities, age 16-19, are needed to portray high school students who are Waffle House patrons. Some people with cars and some without are needed.

When are they filming?

Filming will take place overnight in Decatur on April 21.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $64 for eight hours of work and a $25 car bump.

How do I submit?

Send an email to, with HS Waffle House in the subject line. Include three photos – head, body and profile – and your age, height, weight and all contact information. If you’re submitting with your car, include photos of your vehicle and list its year, color, make and model in the email.
