InterContinental Hotels Group, owner of the Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites brands, has appointed Joel Eisemann as senior vice president and chief development officer for the Americas region and Jim Anhut as senior vice president of Americas Brand Management. Eisemann joins London-based IHG after nearly 29 years in several senior management positions at Marriott International. Anhut, a third-generation hotelier with more than 25 years of industry experience, has been at IHG, whose Americas headquarters is in Atlanta, for 15 years. He launched the boutique Hotel Indigo brand and also designed, launched and managed IHG’s Staybridge Suites.
