Dollar General plans 7 job fairs Saturday

Dollar General will hold seven job fairs this Saturday in metro Atlanta to help fill 10,000 positions this month nationally.

The job fairs will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in McDonough, Tucker, Conyers, Villa Rica, Lithia Springs, Jonesboro and Newnan.

Dollar General has 56 stores in metro Atlanta. “They are all going to be looking to fill vacancies,” said spokeswoman Crystal Ghassemi, who said positions vary from part time to full time, store associates to management. “We have a lot of growth opportunities within our company, and we have competitive wages.”

Dollar General said the purpose of the fairs is to discuss job opportunities and receive resumes, which participants are encouraged to bring.
