Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines will discontinue its flights to Trinidad and Tobago, saying it's a decision "driven by the challenges of the current economy."

Delta started flying to Trinidad and Tobago in 2007, as the carrier was in the first few years of an international expansion. Delta operates a weekly flight from Atlanta to Tobago, and flies four times a week from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport to Port of Spain, Trinidad. The flights will end May 31.
