Atlanta-based Cox Enterprises and its subsidiary Cox Communications announced an investment in InSite Wireless Group, an owner, operator and manager of wireless communication tower site facilities and distributed antenna systems in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Terms were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, Cox Communications, the nation's third-largest cable and broadband company, will contribute about 150 of its wireless towers. Cox Enterprises, a communications, media and automotive services company, will make a cash investment in InSite.
