Concessionaires submit proposals for airport shops

July 26, 2011

Concessionaires have submitted proposals for shops at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, though one package of retail locations did not attract any takers.

The Marshall Retail Group, Paradies Atlanta and Pacific Gateway Concessions, as well as a joint venture including HMSHost and a joint venture including Hudson Group submitted proposals for two of the three collections of shops at Hartsfield-Jackson.

But the third package yielded no proposals. Hartsfield-Jackson general manager Louis Miller said it was a surprise, but the airport will move forward with the first two packages and consider whether to issue a new request for proposals for the third package.

More proposals are due this week for new restaurants at Hartsfield-Jackson, as the Atlanta airport embarks on a major revamp of its concessions.
