The city of College Park has launched an interactive website to give an aerial view of the city and its landmarks near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

The website called College Park 360, developed by creative agency 100 Digital Creativity, shows College Park's Main Street, Woodward Academy, the Georgia International Convention Center and other sites using Google images along with other photography and information. Users can zoom in to get view of picturesque areas like the Woodward Academy entrance.

The site is targeted at real estate developers and others handling site selection for businesses, who can get a virtual reality-type of experience of a place, said Gary Carlos Young, College Park’s economic development project manager. The website launched last year with aerial images, and 100 Digital Creativity is currently adding videos and information to the site.

“It is an amazing way for people to quickly understand our proximity to the world’s busiest airport,” Young said. “Usually when you look at real estate you just see a two-dimensional flyer. It’s not so easy to understand where exactly you are.”
