Coca-Cola Co. said Wednesday that Harry Anderson, currently vice president and controller, will become head of a Global Business and Technology Services unit.

The newly created group is part of a broader effort at Coca-Cola to improve productivity. It will provide global business services such as compensation and benefits administration, accounting and financial reporting and application development and support.

Anderson, who begins his new job July 1, will report to Coke Chief Administrative Officer Alex Cummings and Coke Chief Financial Officer Gary Fayar
