Dallas-based ClubCorp, which acquired more than two dozen golf properties in Georgia last year, announced a deal Monday that includes the purchase of Brookfield Country Club in Roswell.

Brookfield, on Willow Run Road, is an 18-hole private club. The property is one of six ClubCorp is acquiring in a $44 million deal with Stratford Golf Partners and Accord Golf Capital.

CLubCorp said it plans to renovate the clubs and add amenities. The other properties are in North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee and Florida.

ClubCorp is a major owner of clubs in Georgia. The company acquired 50 golf properties last year from Newnan-based Sequoia Golf in a $265 million deal, including four Sequoia-branded golf and country clubs in metro Atlanta and 25 operating under the Canongate brand.

ClubCorp now has 32 golf and country clubs in Georgia.
