The chain is planning several new restaurants around St. Louis, Mo. Openings are scheduled for the first quarter of next year in the western ring of St. Louis suburbs, in Des Peres and St. Peters, Mo. The company is also looking at three other sites in the area that it hopes to open sometime next year.

Chick-fil-A recently entered its 39th state with the opening of Idaho's first Chick-fil-A restaurant, and the company this year passed the 1,500-restaurant mark.
