Bank of American home mortgage holders who are having problems with their loans can come this week to a free homeowner assistance event in Duluth for help in budgeting, financial counseling and possible mortgage modifications.

The three-day events lasts from Thursday, May 3, through Saturday, May 5 at the Gwinnett Center at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway.

Customers are encouraged to bring documents such as identification, the most recent tax return, loan documents and employment information. A complete list of documents and registration can be found at www.bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent or call toll-free 1.855.201.7426. Appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. daily.
