More House Earmarks

The provision was added in the House Appropriations Committee, and has been targeted with a veto threat by the White House.

It seems more likely to be used for lawmakers to blow off steam and tell constituents back home that they are trying to save these dealers, but in the end, it won't make it in the final version that goes to the White House.

One odd thing about this spending bill is that there are earmarks which list "The Judiciary" as the group requesting the project.

Maybe I've been off covering too many other things, but I didn't know the third branch of government had such official pull when it comes to the budget.
