Congressional Earmarks 5

Let's kick off this week with yet another installment of earmarks, or home state spending projects backed by lawmakers.  These are housing-related earmarks in the pipeline in the House. There are 162 of these, sprinkling housing money around the country for a variety of projects, totaling $88 million - about an average of half a million bucks per earmark.

As always, we say that this list does not mean these items are good or bad, that evaluation is left up to you, the voter.
