It was second-round action in boys soccer on Wednesday night, and several games went down to the wire. In Class AAAAAA, Alpharetta defeated Dalton 5-4 in penalties after overtime ended 1-1, and in Class AAAAAAA, South Forsyth took down Norcross 3-1 in PKs after a 1-1 deadlock. Gainesville defeated Alexander 2-1 in overtime in another Class AAAAAA thriller. Johns Creek, Centennial, Cambridge and Mill Creek each won both their boys and girls first-round lacrosse playoff matchups tonight.
