There were a number of baseball elimination games on Saturday. In Class AAAAAAA, Newnan outlasted Roswell in extra innings 2-0 and North Paulding took down Walton 7-6. In the Class AAAAAA rubber matches, Gainesville beat Cambridge 8-5, Grovetown beat Mundy's Mill 8-5, Houston County beat Brunswick 8-1 and Alexander beat Sequoyah 12-8.
