How the game was won: Brennan Garrison picked off a Stone Mountain pass early in the game and set up a Lawson Cooper 30-yard touchdown run at the 11:40 mark of the first quarter to start the onslaught. The Golden Lions controlled the ground, rushing for 347 yards while the Pirates were held to 46 rushing yards.

Top Performers: Reed Egan scored on a 4-yard run and added a 61-yard touchdown pass to Brennan Garrison. …Grant Holloman rushed for a 12-yard score. …Ben White totaled two touchdowns on runs of 15 and 12 yards. …Jason Jones ran in a 10-yard touchdown. …Milo Powell punched in a 4-yard touchdown.
