Islands of Savannah must forfeit four of its five victories, the GHSA ruled officially Tuesday during an appeal hearing.

Islands had been found guilty of violating the GHSA’s undue influence and recruiting bylaws. Victories over Southeast Bulloch, Metter, Calvary Day and Beach have been overturned. Islands’ record is now 1-5 overall, 1-3 in Region 3-AAA.

Beach (2-1, 2-0) and Southeast Bulloch (3-2, 2-1) moved up in the standings. Non-region opponents Metter (5-1) and Calvary Day (5-0) also saw their records improved.
