GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.
Roderick Moore, Redan
*1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach?"Playing Alcorn State University my senior year, I had 12 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a fumble recovery of a touchdown as we [Jackson State] won the conference championship [SWAC]. Best game of my life! As a head coach at McNair, we came back from nine points with one and a half minutes left in the game to beat Stephenson in 2006."
*2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why?"My son would play for William 'Buck' Godfrey because he will get the best out of him on and off the field."
*3. What is your pet peeve as a coach or favorite saying/motto?"Pet peeve: Excuses. My motto: 'My job is to do my job!'"
*4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed?"Bring the fumblerooski back!"
