GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Hal Lamb, Calhoun

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "I have been fortunate enough to be part of four state championships - one as a player [1981 Commerce], one as an assistant coach [1991 Cartersville], and two as a head coach [2011, 2014 Calhoun]. All four were very special, but the one as a player probably stands out because of my Dad [Ray] being the head coach, my brother [Bobby] being the quarterback and me being wide receiver. It doesn't get much better than that."

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "I would want my sons to play for my Dad. He was a very good coach. He taught more than just the game of football!"

3. What is your pet peeve as a coach? "My pet peeve is seeing talent go to waste. God gave certain kids tremendous ability, and so often you see it go to waste."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I think the GHSA has a very tough job, but I think something has to be done about summer activities. They need to be controlled somehow."
