Jefferson 52, Elbert County 6: Jefferson rolled past the visiting Elbert County Blue Devils behind a balanced attack. Sammy Williams kicked off the scoring with a 2-yard touchdown run. Alex Baxley tacked on a 40-yard interception return to make it 14-0. Evan Shirreffs found Dalton Hill for a 30-yard score to finish the first quarter scoring. Williams struck again on a 5-yard run and finished with 14 carries for 107 yards and two scores in the first half. Shirreffs hit T.J. Skelton for a 77-yard score. Colby Wood and Rantious Reed also added scores on the ground.
