Pierce's second score, which proved to be the game-winner, gave the Bearcats their first lead of the entire night with 1:44 remaining. The Golden Lions missed a 59-yard field goal in the final seconds.

Top performers: Pierce finished with 23 carries for 216 yards and two touchdowns. ... Brett McLaughlin accounted for Bainbridge's other score when he plunged in from one yard out in the first quarter. ... Nkem Njoku of St. Pius X blocked a punt and returned it 55 yards for a touchdown to begin the scoring.
