I have never run student poetry on the AJC Get Schooled blog, but a pandemic calls for new rules.

Here is a poem by Maddy Yoo about the pandemic. It was sent to me by her teacher Holly Lanford. Yoo is in sixth grade at Renfroe Middle School in Decatur.

I am reproducing it via a PDF to retain the poem’s structure, which would not translate to newsprint.  Click the arrows in the lower left of the PDF to enlarge to read.
