Doug Roberson's ratings for Atlanta United's players from Saturday's 1-0 win against Colorado at Mercedes-Benz Stadium:

Goalkeeper Brad Guzan, 7: Three saves, all of them comfortable, on a quiet night.

Right fullback Franco Escobar, 6: Making his second start, he had a few stray passes early. Obviously still working his way into game shape.

Centerback Miles Robinson, 7: A really quiet night, but dealt with Kei Kamara well. He and Leandro Gonzalez Pirez combined to hold Kamara to zero shots.

Centerback Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, 8: He outshot Kamara 3-0, with three tackles and four fouls won.

Left fullback Brek Shea, 6: Though he has taken a lot of criticism from the supporters, he had his third consecutive solid game. ... He put in several crosses that someone should have gotten to.

Defensive midfielder Jeff Larentowicz, 7: Making his 397th appearance, he was the victim of a hard foul in 14th minute, but he came back on. ... Created one chance and tied for the team lead with three tackles.

Midfielder Darlington Nagbe, 8: Earned his first assist this season on Julian Gressel's opening goal. ... Influential in the middle before sliding out to the left. ... Completed 94 percent of his passes.

Midfielder Ezequiel Barco, 7: Not as effective on the left as he is in the middle. ... Still led the team with three chances created.

Midfielder Julian Gressel, 7.5: Scored his first league goal this season to give his team a 1-0 lead. ...

Midfielder Pity Martinez, 3: Making his third start, he had very little influence on the game. ... Completed just 66 percent of his passes.

Striker Josef Martinez, 6: Had to drop very deep to get the ball because of Colorado's nine-man bunker. ... Had just 26 touches.

SUBS

Eric Remedi (on for Shea, 72nd), 6: First minutes since his return from a concussion suffered at New England.

Hector Villalba (on for Pity Martinez, 72nd), 7: The threat of his speed on the edge helped to create the gap that Nagbe took advantage of on the goal. ... Hit the post in stoppage time with a shot. ...
