No PreCheck on your boarding pass? Ask TSA

But sometimes, the PreCheck indicator is missing. That could be for a number of reasons, including flying an airline that does not participate in PreCheck, or a missing or incorrect Known Traveler Number on the flight reservation. Travelers can contact their airline before flying to verify that their  Known Traveler Number is included on the reservation.

PreCheck costs $85 to enroll. Those who have already enrolled and still don't get PreCheck can tweet @AskTSA for help. It helps to get a boarding pass 24 hours in advance via online or mobile check-in to allow enough time.

TSA answers questions through the @AskTSA Twitter account 8 a.m.-10 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on weekends and holidays. The @AskTSA staff can look into such PreCheck issues for individual travelers.
