Heavy rain and thunderstorms caused flash flooding in Atlanta and surrounding areas Wednesday morning.

Two cars were submerged on Glenn Street at Humphries Street in Atlanta as severe storms moved through the city Wednesday morning, causing flash flooding in some areas.

Vantaun Hayes, a car delivery driver with Jim Ellis Express Way, is helping to move cars disabled by flash flooding in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Wednesday morning.

Two cars were submerged on Glen Street at Humphrey Street in Atlanta as severe storms moved through the city, causing flash flooding in some areas.
