Ponce & Ponce Renderings

Portman Holdings is pursuing a multi-block redevelopment project along Ponce de Leon Avenue, which would replace a row of beloved bars and nightlife establishments with new office, retail and apartment buildings.

Portman Holdings released renderings of the Ponce & Ponce project during a Virginia-Highland neighborhood meeting at the end of 2022.

Portman Holdings expects the Ponce & Ponce development to open in 2026.

The Ponce & Ponce project will include roughly 38,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Ponce & Ponce is expected to include roughly 470,000 square feet of office space.

Ponce & Ponce will be located along Ponce de Leon Avenue near the Atlanta Beltline. Ponce de Leon Place will bisect the project site.

Ponce & Ponce will consist of a west and east parcel split by Ponce de Leon Place and will feature retail, office and residential spaces.

The Ponce & Ponce project received backlash when it was first revealed from community members who enjoy the current stretch of gritty bars and nightlife establishments along Ponce de Leon Avenue.

The Ponce & Ponce project is expected to have Atlanta Beltline connectivity.

Ponce & Ponce will feature two halves that are bisected by Ponce de Leon Place.

Ponce & Ponce is expected to include 354 apartments spanning roughly 285,000 square feet.

Portman Holdings said the taller office buildings will be located closer to the Atlanta Beltline and the Ford Factory Lofts.
