Star Wars mastermind George Lucas and Disney's Bob Iger have created a new 3-D Star Wars adventure at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park just in time for summer vacation.
Star Tours — The Adventures Continue uses eye-popping digital video, motion simulator-based technology, and a dramatic musical score to immerse guests in a Star Wars adventure. The Starspeeder spacecraft embarks on a wild mission to visit several planets made famous in the Star Wars films and where you encounter Star Wars characters that may help or hinder your journey, including Yoda, Admiral Ackbar, Darth Vader and Boba Fett.
But there are more than 50 story combinations that come up randomly, so guests get new adventures each time they experience the attraction. It's no longer if you've seen it once you've seen it all.
Star WarsWeekends celebrate the saga through June 12. All weekend long, see celebrities and characters for special shows, panels, presentations and more. Guest stars at upcoming weekends include Anthony Daniels, who has played C-3PO since 1977, this Friday through Sunday, and Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca, June 10-12.

Goodbye, Jimmy Neutron, Hello, Despicable Me!
Universal Orlando Resort's newest attraction is based on Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's blockbuster 3-D-CGI feature Despicable Me, the hugely popular film that grossed more than $540 million in 2010.
Its outrageous humor, endearing characters and compelling storyline make it the perfect film to be transformed into a theme park experience. And it’s being made with brand-new, highly sophisticated Infitec 3-D projection systems designed to make the experience sharper, clearer and more “real” than ever before.
In other big changes at Universal, The Amazing Adventures Of Spider-man, already one of the most popular and innovative theme park attractions, is about to get mind-blowingly better. The new digital animation will be done in 4K high definition, the highest HD resolution available. From the new set enhancements to the new details that have been added to the film, even if you’ve seen Spidey before, you’ll want to see him again.
The new attractions open in 2012, but there’s plenty to do now. Attend Hogwarts with Harry Potter, battle aliens with Agent J, and help Shrek save Princess Fiona in Shrek 4-D.
