It’s been relatively warm, wet and gloomy in Atlanta — and that same trio can be expected again Wednesday.
Moisture coming in from the Pacific Ocean should keep showers in Atlanta for at least a week, Channel 2 Action News reported.
“It’s going to be a rain train for the next 10 days or so,” Channel 2 Chief meteorologist Glenn Burns said.
Earlier, the city saw mist and drizzle built up from an overnight wedge front. Showers eventually cleared, giving way to temperatures in the 50s, according to Channel 2.
The high was 56, three degrees higher than the projected high. Currently it’s 54 in Atlanta.

That wedge front is expected to move out of the area Wednesday, when the forecast high is 63 degrees. The average high this time of year is 56.
And it’s only expected to be get warmer.
Highs are expected to hit 73 Thursday and 70 Friday.
Rain chances are at 20 percent Wednesday and 10 percent Thursday, Channel 2 reported.
Showers should reach far North Georgia by noon Wednesday and hit metro Atlanta by about 3 p.m.
