Atlanta should expect to stay in the 40s Sunday night, Channel 2 Action News reported. But don’t expect them to stay there all week.
Wind gusts of up to 15 mph are making temperatures feel cooler, Channel 2 reported.
Atlanta reached the expected high of 48 degrees, but feels like 42, Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
Yep. This sums it up! The wedge is keeping N GA in the 40s and 50s. Currently 48° at ATL...I'm timing how long this pattern lasts ahead at 6. #gawx pic.twitter.com/uE2MpQDEvS

Strangely, the pollen count is at 2,325, but “rain is helping knock it that out of the air,” Monahan said. “It is wet and it is going to stay this way over the next couple of days.”
Atlanta received more than an inch of rain since showers began at midnight, Channel 2 reported.
The good news is rains are have left Atlanta and should be completely out of the metro area by 6 p.m.
WARMER BY MID-WEEK: It's spring -- and that means we're often on the see-saw for temperatures! 40s for most of the area during the afternoon today & tomorrow, but we'll be back in the 70s later in the week. pic.twitter.com/d3XAnDpJtx

Showers should continue the rest of the week with a light drizzle on Monday, but rain chances gradually increase to 20 percent Tuesday and Wednesday and 60 on Thursday.
The one sparkle of sunshine: highs should return to the 70s by the end of this week.
