Get ready for another day of rain this weekend.
It won’t be an “all day washout,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said. So don’t be too quick to cancel any outdoor plans.
However, the chance of rain is at 70 percent, and Monahan said get ready for “anytime, anywhere” storms.
WET 2018: Here's an update on where we stand on rainfall so far this year -- still about a foot above average! So far this month, we're about 4" above average rain -- we'll add to that over the next few days.

There also should be “a lot of clouds” throughout Sunday, Monahan said.
The rain could affect the Braves’ game against the Colorado Rockies in SunTrust Park at 1:35 p.m.
Cobb County traffic should pick up around first pitch, and the Georgia Department of Transportation also has a few lane closures from construction projects to watch out for if weather permits. Namely, the I-75 and I-285 resurfacing projects from the Chattahoochee River to Canton Road could cause some delays.

Atlanta United fans may appreciate Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s roof during the United match against Columbus Crew SC at 4 p.m.
The silver lining with all the clouds and rain is that temperatures should remain low for summertime. The predicted high is only 87 degrees Sunday, and Monday’s high is expected to be 85.
MORE STORMS TODAY: Good morning! Scattered showers and storms are in the forecast again today across north Georgia with highs mainly in the mid 80s.

I'm looking ahead to drier weather in the 5 day forecast -- now to 8am on Channel 2! @wsbtv pic.twitter.com/cTXjUGDSt9
Sunday’s waves of expected showers shouldn’t be the last of it, either.
“We’re going to have (lots of moisture) all over again (Sunday) into Monday into Tuesday, Monahan said.
Channel 2 projections show that Atlanta could see an inch or two of rain from Saturday to Tuesday, which only adds to the above-average rainfall this year, Monahan said.
Before that "cooler/drier" air moves in... going to keep an eye on the potential for some more strong storms with a cold front on Tuesday...

Wednesday’s chance of rain has increased to about 60 percent.
