Metro Atlanta is beginning Monday under cloudy skies, Channel 2 Actions News meteorologist Karen Minton said.

Atlanta should be dry through 1 p.m., Minton said, but showers and storms are possible Monday evening.

The weather pattern continues Tuesday, before drier air and lower humidity moves in Wednesday, Minton said.

Monday’s high is expected to reach 85.
