As local legend Gucci Mane would say: “Brr!”
Even if you don’t get that hip-hop reference, you can’t mistake the expert’s take on today’s weather:
“It’s cold,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said Sunday morning.
Luckily, the area warmed up into the mid-50s by the afternoon.
And although North Georgians woke up to temperatures in the 20s and 30s, Monday morning should be a few degrees warmer, according to Channel 2.
Clouds should move in Sunday evening, increasing our chances for rain during the week.
Through Wednesday, we have the potential for 2"+ of rain across parts of north Georgia.

Scattered showers could muddy up the Monday morning commute, Monahan said, but rain is expected to increase in intensity during the day.
Rainfall totals could be in the 1- to-3-inch range.
Rain is also expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The weather is looking absolutely miserable Monday through Thursday -- really, there's no other way to put it. Cold, cloudy, periods of rain -- some heavy.

Temperatures throughout the week are forecast to be in the 40s and 50s — lower than normal for this time of year, according to Monahan.
Expect traffic around Veterans Day events in metro Atlanta for the holiday on Sunday, as well as for the Atlanta United game (5:30 p.m.) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.
